Our Process & Working Guidelines

Our aim is to create a transparent, professional, and well-structured collaboration where expectations, timelines, and responsibilities are clear for both parties from the outset.

1. Initial Enquiry

When you first contact us, we will request key information to understand your project, including:

  • Type of project (residential, commercial, etc.)

  • Project location

  • Approximate size of the space

  • Required services

  • Estimated level of investment

  • Preferred timelines

This stage allows us to assess whether we are the right fit for your project and ensures an efficient and focused next step.

2. Introductory Call / Meeting

If your project aligns with our services, we will arrange an initial call or meeting to:

  • Discuss your vision and expectations

  • Understand your lifestyle, brand, or functional needs

  • Clarify the potential scope of work

  • Answer any initial questions

This meeting is free of charge and does not include design work.

3. Proposal & Scope of Work

Following the introductory meeting, you will receive a written proposal detailing:

  • Scope of services

  • Project phases

  • Estimated timelines

  • Estimated costs

  • Payment schedule

This stage is chargeable, with fees dependent on the scale and complexity of the project.
The fee is non-refundable, but will be deducted from the total project cost should you proceed with our full design service.

4. Contract & Initial Payment

To formally commence the project:

  • A contract must be signed by both parties (or confirmed via email)

  • An initial non-refundable deposit is required

This secures your place in our schedule and allows work to begin.
No design work will commence until payment has been received.

5. Communication & Feedback

  • All feedback must be provided within agreed timeframes

  • Delays in feedback may impact the overall project timeline

  • Communication will take place via agreed channels (email, scheduled calls, or site visits)

Clear, timely communication is essential to achieving a successful outcome.

6. Payments

  • Payments must be made in accordance with the agreed schedule

  • Late payments may result in a pause to the project, deliveries, or installations

  • Final drawings, files, or documentation will not be released until all outstanding payments are settled

This policy ensures fairness and protects both parties.

7. Changes & Additional Work

Any work outside the agreed scope will:

  • Be discussed in advance

  • Require written approval

  • Be quoted and charged separately

This approach avoids misunderstandings and unexpected costs.

8. Site Visits, Travel & Location-Based Costs

For projects located beyond our standard working area (20 miles from our office), additional fees may apply.

Please note:

  • Travel time is considered working time and may be charged accordingly

  • Transportation costs (fuel, train tickets, taxis, flights, accommodation if required) will be added to the project fee

  • Long-distance or out-of-area site visits will always be discussed and approved in advance

These fees reflect the time, planning, and resources required for off-site project involvement.

9. Project Completion

Upon receipt of your written confirmation:

  • Final drawings and/or files will be delivered

  • The project will be officially closed

Any future updates, revisions, or changes will be treated as a new scope of work.

Important Notes

  • We reserve the right to pause or terminate a project if agreed terms are not respected

  • Mutual respect, professionalism, and clear communication are expected throughout the collaboration

  • By proceeding with the project, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I receive a quotation?

We offer a complimentary quotation following an initial conversation or a private showroom visit. To ensure an accurate and tailored proposal, we recommend sharing as much information as possible, including floor plans, finishes, and your overall vision. A detailed estimate is usually provided within one week.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes. Our showroom is located in North London and operates by appointment only. This allows us to offer a discreet, personalised consultation in a calm and considered environment. Appointments can be booked via our website.

Do you offer design services only?

Yes. Our design services can be commissioned independently. Should you proceed with a full project, the design fee will be fully deducted from the final order value.

What is your ordering process?

Once the initial deposit is received, we arrange a site survey and finalise all design and technical details. The order is then submitted for production. Upon confirmation from the factory, we provide a confirmed delivery and installation schedule.
Standard lead times for kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms are 6–7 weeks.

What are your payment terms?

Our payment structure is as follows:

  • 50% deposit upon order confirmation

  • Final balance payable 15 days prior to delivery

We accept bank transfers and all major debit and credit cards.

Can orders be cancelled?

As all our furniture is made to order, cancellations or changes are not possible once production has commenced.
